Big brother of the Piacenzian, with intense characters always very fine.

It ages partially in unroasted barrels to enhance its complexity.

Its evolution begins from 2 years after bottling.

Tasting Notes

Color: Ruby red with purple highlights.

Aroma: intense aroma of cloves, cinnamon and black pepper, followed by notes of red berries, such as black cherry and plum. Lasting notes of almond and rhubarb.

Taste: Medium-bodied with good acidity, velvety tannins,
good persistence.
